Roles and Responsibilities

· Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, ultrasound, CT, and MRI, as applicable to the hospital's facilities and the radiologist's qualifications.

· Prepare accurate, clear, and timely radiology reports.

· Communicate critical findings promptly to the treating doctors.

· Ensure patient safety, radiation protection, and infection control during imaging procedures.

· Maintain patient records, imaging reports, and confidentiality.





· Coordinate with doctors, nurses, radiographers, and other healthcare professionals.

· Ensure proper functioning of imaging equipment and report technical issues.

· Follow hospital policies, clinical protocols, and applicable statutory requirements.

3. Qualifications and Experience

· MD / DNB in Radio diagnosis or an equivalent recognized qualification.

· Valid medical council registration.

· Relevant experience in diagnostic imaging and reporting is preferred.

4. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

· Accuracy and completeness of radiology reports.

· Timely completion of reports.

· Prompt communication of critical findings.

· Patient satisfaction and professional conduct.

· Compliance with radiation safety and documentation standards.

5. Skilled Conduct

· Maintain patient confidentiality and medical ethics.

· Follow hospital protocols and safety guidelines.

· Maintain professional communication with patients and staff.
