We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with solid expertise in mechanical design and engineering drawings. The candidate should be proficient in SolidWorks, 3D modeling, 2D drafting/detailing, and have a good understanding of engineering standards.

Experience: 4-5 years | Location: Bhosari, Pune | Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and modify 3D models and mechanical designs using SolidWorks.

- Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings and detailing.

- Apply GD&T; principles and ensure dimensional accuracy.

- Interpret and use welding symbols as per engineering requirements.

- Perform basic strength and engineering calculations.

- Ensure designs and drawings comply with applicable ISO standards.

- Coordinate with manufacturing, production, and other engineering teams.

- Review designs for manufacturability, functionality, and quality.





- Maintain design documentation and engineering revisions.

Required Skills

- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks.

- Expertise in 3D modeling and 2D drafting/detailing.

- Good knowledge of GD&T; and welding symbols.

- Knowledge of strength calculations and mechanical design principles.

- Understanding of ISO standards and engineering practices.

- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

- 4-5 years of relevant experience in mechanical / product design.
