Job Title: L1/L2 Network Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on L1/L2 Network Engineer to troubleshoot, maintain, and support network infrastructure across multiple client environments.

The primary focus of this role is networking, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN, and internet connectivity. The candidate should be capable of resolving routine support issues independently and handling intermediate-level network troubleshooting.

Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy is also required for day-to-day infrastructure support.

Key Responsibilities:

- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Diagnose LAN/WAN, internet connectivity, VLAN, IP addressing, routing, DNS, and DHCP issues.
- Troubleshoot Wi-Fi performance, intermittent connectivity, packet loss, and network latency.
- Configure and troubleshoot firewall rules, NAT, port forwarding, and VPN connections.
- Perform network installations, device configuration, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
- Administer Active Directory users and groups and troubleshoot Windows Server issues.
- Monitor network devices and connectivity using available monitoring tools.
- Handle support tickets, coordinate with ISPs and vendors, and meet agreed service-level targets.
- Maintain network diagrams, IP address records, device inventories, and technical documentation.
- Provide remote and on-site client support and travel for deployments when required.

Required Skills:

- 1–3 years of experience in networking, IT support, or infrastructure support.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, switching, and VLANs.
- Practical troubleshooting experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi access points.
- Working knowledge of VPNs,



NAT, firewall policies, DNS, and DHCP.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server maintenance.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and client-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel to client locations when required.

Preferred Skills:

- CCNA certification or equivalent practical networking knowledge.
- Experience with TP-Link, Fortinet, Sophos, or Cisco networking and security products.
- Familiarity with PRTG, SolarWinds, or Wireshark.
- Basic scripting or network security knowledge is an advantage.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a proactive engineer who can handle L1/L2 support independently, troubleshoot intermediate-level network issues, take ownership of incidents, and work effectively across multiple client environments.

Candidates with strong hands-on networking skills and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
