Naushera

The Top Energy Group operates throughout the Far North delivering geothermal electricity generation and electricity network operations. We are enabling Northland to contribute to the decarbonisation challenge by transforming the Top Energy Group into a technology-enabled energy company that generates and facilitates two-way energy flow between renewable energy generators and consumers.

About the role

This role provides asset engineering expertise across Top Energy's electricity network, supporting the development and ongoing management of asset lifecycle strategies, risk-based investment plans, and asset information and technical governance. It ensures network assets remain secure, reliable, resilient, and fit for purpose throughout their lifecycle. The role is also responsible for translating asset needs into robust programmes, standards, and decision-making support for the 10-year Asset Management Plan (AMP).

The role is based in Kerikeri and will report to the Planning Manager.

About you

It is essential that you have a bachelor's degree in engineering, a high level of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. You will also hold a full clean NZ drivers' licence. Experience in network engineering planning and design with 5-7 years' experience in the electricity supply industry is preferred (however we would welcome applicants with less experience to apply). An added advantage would be having experience with SAP or another enterprise resource planning system.
