Job Description – Application Engineer

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Job Responsibilities

- Develop, edit, and optimize CNC/VMC programs for machining operations.
- Perform CNC programming using FANUC, Siemens, and Mitsubishi controls.
- Set up machines, select cutting tools, and determine appropriate machining parameters.
- Interpret engineering drawings and understand component specifications.
- Conduct machining trials and prove out programs to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Optimize machining cycle time, tool life, and production efficiency.
- Troubleshoot programming, machining, and tool-related issues.
- Provide technical support and application solutions for CNC/VMC machines.
- Conduct machine demonstrations and customer application trials.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Quality, Sales, and Service teams.
- Support customers with machining processes, programming, and productivity improvements.
- Prepare and maintain CNC programs, setup sheets, and technical documentation.

Required Skills & Experience





- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in CNC/VMC programming or applications.
- CNC/VMC machinery manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of FANUC, Siemens, and Mitsubishi CNC controls.
- Robust knowledge of CNC/VMC machining processes and G-code/M-code programming.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, tooling selection, and machining parameters.
- Understanding of dimensional accuracy, tolerances, and cycle time optimization.
- Good troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits and application support, if required.

Working Details

- Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Weekly Off: Wednesday
