Job Description – Senior Accountant (Tours & Travels)

Department: Accounts & Finance
Qualification: B.Com / M.Com
Experience: 10+ years, preferably in the Tours & Travels industry
Reporting To: Accounts Manager / Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor payments, and customer collections.
- Prepare bank, customer, and vendor reconciliations.
- Monitor tour-wise expenses, revenue, costing, and profitability.
- Manage GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory compliance requirements.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and MIS reports.
- Verify invoices, process refunds, and monitor travel-related expenses.
- Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, auditors, and tax consultants.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to company financial policies.

IATA & BSP Operations

- Manage BSP reconciliation, airline billing, ADM/ACM handling, and settlement processes
- Monitor airline ticket sales, refunds, commissions, and remittances
- Ensure compliance with IATA regulations and BSP reporting requirements
- Coordinate with airlines, consolidators,



and travel partners regarding financial matters
- Handle GDS-related financial transactions and reporting.

Compliance & Reporting

- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory requirements

Team & Process Management

- Lead and supervise the accounts and finance team
- Develop and implement financial controls and accounting procedures
- Improve operational efficiency and financial processes
- Coordinate with operations, sales, and management teams for financial planning
- Coordinate internal and external audits
- Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis for management
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and records
- Ensure timely filing of tax returns and regulatory submissions

Required Skills

- Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Robust knowledge of accounting principles, GST, and TDS.
- Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
