About the Role

We're looking for a proactive, resourceful, and people-oriented HR Generalist who can independently manage recruitment and employee-facing HR activities at Acelerar.

This is an individual contributor role, not a team management position. You will independently own the HR function, working closely with management and department heads.

Recruitment will be your primary responsibility, alongside employee engagement, onboarding, employee relations, and other people operations.

The good news? Much of our routine HR administration is already automated through Zoho People and other HR technology platforms. This allows you to spend less time on paperwork and more time on hiring great people, building meaningful employee relationships, and creating a better workplace.

What Will You Do?

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

- Independently manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing to selection and joining.

- Source and engage candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, and other recruitment channels.

- Create compelling job descriptions and recruitment campaigns to attract quality talent.





- Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidate suitability.

- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand requirements and ensure timely closures.

- Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for current and future requirements.

- Organize walk-in interviews, campus recruitment drives, and other hiring initiatives when required.

Maintain accurate recruitment records and track hiring progress.

Employee Engagement & People Operations

- Plan and execute employee engagement activities, team celebrations, and Rewards & Recognition (R&R;) initiatives.

- Conduct regular employee one-on-ones to understand concerns, gather feedback, and improve employee experience.

- Serve as an approachable first point of contact for employee concerns, ensuring appropriate resolution or escalation.

- Conduct new employee orientation and induction sessions, helping new hires settle into the organization.

- Manage employee exit processes, including exit interviews, feedback collection, and offboarding coordination.

- Collaborate with managers on employee satisfaction, retention, and workplace culture initiatives.

Identify opportunities to strengthen employee relationships and create a positive work environment.

HR Operations & Continuous Improvement

- Oversee employee lifecycle activities through Zoho People and other existing HR systems.

- Ensure employee information and essential HR documentation remain accurate and updated.

- Coordinate HR activities that require personal interaction, follow-up, or management intervention.





- Suggest and implement improvements to HR processes, policies, and employee experience.

Work closely with management on people-related initiatives and organizational development.

Requirements

What Are We Looking For?

- 2–5 years of hands-on HR experience, preferably in the BPO, outsourcing, or ITES industry.

- Strong experience in end-to-end recruitment, including candidate sourcing and interview coordination.

- Excellent knowledge of LinkedIn sourcing and recruitment platforms.

- Practical experience in employee engagement, onboarding, and employee relations is essential.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

- Strong organizational abilities and the capability to manage multiple hiring requirements simultaneously.

- A proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented approach.

- Comfort working independently, taking decisions within defined responsibilities, and driving initiatives without constant supervision.

- Experience with Zoho People or similar HRMS platforms would be an advantage.

Experience conducting campus recruitment or walk-in hiring drives would be an added advantage
