Job Description

Hariansh Engineering is seeking a technically competent, self-driven Senior Design Engineer with hands-on expertise in mechanical design, structural analysis, connection design and manufacturing processes.

The candidate should understand how engineering components are manufactured, fabricated, assembled and installed, and be able to independently execute design assignments, verify structural integrity and deliver practical, secure and cost-effective solutions.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace or Production Engineering.
- Design & Analysis Software: Hands-on experience with SolidWorks, IDEA StatiCa, STAAD.Pro, SCIA Engineer, ANSYS or equivalent tools.
- Structural Analysis: Structural modelling, load calculations, stress and deformation analysis, stability and integrity verification.
- Connection Design & Analysis: Bolted and welded connections, base plates, anchor bolts, steel joints and connection capacity checks.
- 3D Modelling & Drafting: 3D models, assemblies, manufacturing and fabrication drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Manufacturing Knowledge: Machining, welding, sheet metal fabrication, cutting, bending, casting, forging and assembly.
- Engineering Fundamentals: Strength of materials, mechanics,



material selection, structural behaviour, GD&T;, tolerances and DFM.
- Engineering Standards: Familiarity with relevant IS, EN/Eurocode, AISC and international standards.
- Technical Documentation & Review: Independently prepare and review engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, datasheets, fabrication drawings, BOMs and vendor documents.
- Vendor Development & Management: Identify and assess vendors based on technical capability, manufacturing facilities, quality standards and project suitability.
- Technical Procurement Support: Prepare RFQs and technical specifications, conduct technical bid evaluations (TBE), review quotations and coordinate sourcing.
- Problem-Solving & Independent Execution: Identify design issues, carry out calculations, propose feasible solutions and own assignments from design through fabrication and procurement support.
