Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Manual Testing Engineer with 1 year of hands-on experience in software testing. The ideal candidate should have a valuable understanding of software testing methodologies, test case preparation, defect reporting, and the software development life cycle (SDLC). Candidates who can join immediately will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand business requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
- Execute test cases and identify, document, and track software defects.
- Report bugs with clear steps to reproduce, expected results, actual results, and supporting screenshots.
- Perform UI testing and validate application functionality across different browsers and devices.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other team members to resolve issues.
- Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and test execution activities.
- Conduct retesting and regression testing after bug fixes.
- Maintain test documentation, test reports, and defect logs.
- Ensure software quality and adherence to defined requirements before release.

Required Skills

- 1 year of practical experience in manual software testing.
- Good understanding of SDLC and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Knowledge of functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.
- Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scenarios.




- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of web application testing and UI validation.
- Knowledge of defect life cycle and severity/priority classification.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

Preferred Skills

- Basic knowledge of SQL queries for database validation.
- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to cross-browser testing.

Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in manual testing.
- Candidates must be available to join immediately or within a short notice period.
- Candidates should be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering quality software.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
