Job Summary
We are looking for qualified and dedicated Occupational Health Nurses to provide medical and occupational health services at an industrial project site. Candidates will support first aid, emergency response, health surveillance, and daily medical operations in coordination with the Doctor and Occupational Health Centre (OHC) team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first aid and basic medical care to employees and site personnel.
- Assist the Doctor with OPD and occupational health services.
- Respond to medical emergencies and support patient stabilization.
- Conduct site visits and assist with occupational health surveillance.
- Maintain patient records and medical documentation.
- Support ambulance operations and hospital referrals.
- Monitor and maintain emergency medical equipment and supplies.
- Participate in emergency drills and employee health awareness programmes.
- Maintain OHC hygiene and infection-control standards.
- Follow project medical procedures and HSE requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- B.Sc Nursing / GNM.
- Valid Nursing Council Registration.
- BLS Certification is mandatory.
- Experience in occupational health, industrial nursing, trauma, or emergency care is preferred.
- Experience in construction, oil & gas, manufacturing, infrastructure, or other industrial projects is an advantage.
- Good emergency response and first-aid skills.
- English communication required; Tamil/Hindi communication is an added advantage.
- Basic computer skills and medical documentation knowledge.
