Job Description: Field Sales Executive – Distributor Sales

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Field Sales Executive to manage distributor relationships, expand market coverage, and drive sales of educational books across Bihar. The ideal candidate should have experience in distributor and channel sales, preferably in the book publishing or education industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and strengthen relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers, and bookshops across Bihar.
- Appoint recent distributors and channel partners to expand the sales network.
- Drive primary and secondary sales to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Promote and sell K–12 and K–5 educational books, children’s books, reference books, and other academic publications.
- Develop market coverage for school textbooks, supplementary learning materials, and competitive book categories.
- Conduct regular market visits to generate orders, identify business opportunities, and understand customer requirements.
- Monitor competitor publications, pricing, product offerings, and market trends.
- Ensure product availability, stock management, timely order execution, and payment collections.




- Prepare regular sales reports and provide market feedback to the reporting manager.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 2–5 years of experience in field sales, distributor sales, or channel sales.
- Experience in the book publishing, educational books, stationery, or education industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of K–12 and K–5 books, children’s books, reference books, and competing publications will be an advantage.
- Strong distributor management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to identify new markets, appoint channel partners, and achieve sales targets.
- Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across assigned markets in Bihar.
- An existing network of distributors, bookshops, and educational retailers in Bihar will be preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

- CTC: ₹20,000–₹35,000 per month equivalent, as per the approved salary structure.
- Travel Allowance (TA) and Daily Allowance (DA) as per company policy.
- Full-time field sales role with opportunities to expand market presence and grow professionally.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
