We are looking for a detail-oriented Gujarati Translation Reviewer to review Gujarati translations of English questions and instructions used to evaluate AI models. The role involves comparing the English source text with an existing Gujarati translation and an AI-suggested correction, then selecting the most accurate version or writing a corrected translation.

The objective is to ensure that the Gujarati translation conveys exactly the same meaning as the English source, without adding, omitting, simplifying, or altering any information.

Key Responsibilities

- Compare each English source with the existing Gujarati translation and the AI-suggested correction, reviewing the content line by line.
- Make one decision for each item: Accept Original, Accept AI Correction, Edit Final, or Escalate.
- Write a complete and accurate Gujarati translation when neither available version is correct.
- Preserve the exact meaning of the source, including specialist terminology, negations (NOT, except, only), quantities, comparisons, and all conditions.
- Copy formulas, LaTeX, code snippets, URLs, units, and digits exactly as provided. Use Western digits (0–9), never Gujarati numerals.
- Ensure multiple-choice options remain distinct and retain the original count and order, without making any option easier to identify.
- Preserve errors and ambiguities in the source text as written. Do not solve, fact-check, or improve the original questions.
- Add short, explicit comments explaining translation defects and corrections.




- Maintain accuracy and consistency across long and technically complex items while following the review guidelines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Native or near-native Gujarati proficiency, including reading, writing, and typing in Gujarati Unicode script.
- Strong English reading comprehension, with the ability to understand dense academic and technical content.
- Solid Gujarati grammar: case markers (એ, ને), gender and number agreement, honorifics (તું / તમે), comparisons (કરતાં, વધારે, ઓછું).
- Comfort working with technical content, including mathematical notation, formulas, and code snippets, to identify translation discrepancies without necessarily solving the underlying problems.
- Sharp attention to detail and the ability to maintain consistency across lengthy items.
- Ability to follow detailed written guidelines precisely and make consistent, rule-based decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience in translation, localization, editing, or translation quality assurance (English ↔ Gujarati).
- A degree or professional background in law, medicine, science, engineering, computing, or a related technical field.
- Prior experience in AI data annotation, Large Language Model (LLM) evaluation, or linguistic review.
- Knowledge of established Gujarati technical and subject-specific terminology.

Pay: ₹200.00 - ₹250.00 per hour
