Job Description:

The Fisherman's Wharf Restaurant, Calangute, is urgently hiring an experienced Chef de Partie (CDP) specializing in Chinese cuisine. We are looking for a skilled and dedicated professional who can independently manage the Chinese kitchen section while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes according to restaurant standards.
- Independently manage the Chinese kitchen section and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, portion sizes, and presentation.
- Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff.
- Ensure proper mise en place and timely preparation of orders.
- Monitor inventory, control food wastage, and maintain stock levels.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.




- Coordinate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen section.

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a CDP or DCDP in a restaurant or hotel is required.
- Solid knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, sauces, and ingredients.
- Ability to independently handle the Chinese section during busy service hours.
- Good leadership, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Candidates who can join immediately or at short notice will be preferred.
