We are looking for an AOI Engineer responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining AOI machines to ensure the quality of PCBA in the SMT line.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Create, edit and debug AOI programs for new models as per Gerber / CAD data.
- Optimize inspection parameters to reduce false calls and escape defects.
- Handle AOI machines - Koh Young, TRI, Test Research, etc.
- Analyze AOI defects like Missing Component, Offset, Skew, Polarity, Solder Bridging, Tombstone, Insufficient Solder.
- Coordinate with SMT, Quality, and Process Engineering team for defect resolution.
- Maintain AOI daily inspection reports, false call data, and machine downtime records.
- Perform regular calibration and preventive maintenance of AOI machines.
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards for PCB acceptance.
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience in Koh Young 3D AOI programming is preferred.
- Good knowledge of SMT Process and PCB Components.
- Ability to read PCB schematics and understand BOM.
- Knowledge of SPI and SMT reflow profile will be an added advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
