A. Production Planning & Execution

- Plan and monitor day-to-day production activities based on production plans, customer requirements, and committed delivery schedules.
- Prepare production priorities and allocate work to respective production sections.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within the committed timelines.
- Monitor daily production output against planned targets and take corrective action for deviations.
- Coordinate with Planning, Stores, Purchase, Quality, Design, and other departments to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Ensure availability of required manpower, materials, machines, tools, and resources.
- Review production schedules and make necessary adjustments based on priorities and capacity.
- Conduct daily production review meetings and monitor action points.

B. Production Process Management

- Monitor and control production processes to ensure smooth, efficient, and systematic manufacturing operations.
- Identify process bottlenecks, delays, wastage, and productivity losses.
- Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce rejection, rework, and downtime.
- Ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions are followed by production personnel.
- Monitor machine utilization and production capacity.
- Ensure proper coordination between different production stages to avoid process delays.
- Promote Lean Manufacturing / 5S / Continuous Improvement practices wherever applicable.

C. Target & Delivery Management

- Take ownership of achieving daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Ensure production is aligned with committed customer/project delivery dates.
- Monitor production progress against planned schedules and highlight potential delays in advance.
- Develop recovery plans for delayed or critical production orders.
- Ensure timely completion and handover of finished products to the next process or dispatch.
- Analyze reasons for target shortfalls and implement corrective actions.

D. Quality Plan Implementation

- Understand and effectively implement Quality Plans, Inspection Plans, SOPs,



and Work Instructions within the production process.
- Ensure production activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with the Quality Department to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout production.
- Minimize production defects, rejection, rework, and customer complaints.
- Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented for recurring production-related quality issues.
- Promote a "Right First Time" approach across the production team.

E. Manpower Management

- Plan and allocate manpower according to production requirements and workload.
- Monitor workforce productivity and utilization.
- Provide appropriate guidance, training, and supervision to production personnel.
- Ensure discipline and compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
- Identify manpower gaps and coordinate with HR for necessary manpower requirements.
- Develop team capability through skill development and cross-training.

F. Safety & Workplace Management

- Ensure compliance with all applicable EHS and workplace safety procedures.
- Ensure workers use appropriate PPE and follow safe working practices.
- Identify unsafe conditions and take immediate corrective action.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and workplace organization.
- Promote 5S and safety awareness within the production area.

G. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

- Prepare and review daily production reports.
- Monitor key production performance indicators and communicate deviations to management.
- Analyze production efficiency, productivity, rejection, rework, downtime, and achievement against targets.
- Submit regular production performance reports to management.
- Maintain production records and ensure timely updating of relevant documentation.

Candidate must have relevant experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry, Engineering Industry, with sound knowledge of Pharmaceutical Process Equipment and its applications.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
