Job Description

GLS Aluminium is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, price negotiations, and timely material availability. The ideal candidate should have experience in purchasing, preferably in aluminium manufacturing, fabrication, or a related industrial sector.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily purchasing activities for raw materials, aluminium products, hardware, consumables, spare parts, and other requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate rates, and finalize purchase orders.
- Coordinate with production, stores, accounts, and other departments to ensure timely material availability.
- Follow up with suppliers for order status, delivery schedules, and pending materials.
- Maintain purchase orders, supplier records, quotations, and procurement documentation.
- Monitor inventory requirements and avoid material shortages or excess stock.




- Coordinate with vendors to resolve quality issues, delivery delays, and pricing discrepancies.
- Ensure purchases comply with company policies, quality standards, and budget requirements.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through effective negotiation and alternate sourcing.

Requirements

- Graduate in any discipline; a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Commerce is an advantage.
- 2–5 years of experience in purchase or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or aluminium industry.
- Knowledge of vendor management, purchase orders, quotation comparison, and price negotiation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, email, and ERP or inventory management systems.
- Valuable communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
