Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled, responsible, and patient-focused phlebotomist to join our team in the PCMC area. The candidate will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients at their homes and during community health camps organized in residential societies and corporate offices.

The ideal candidate should have strong venepuncture skills, a compassionate approach to patient care, and the ability to ensure safe, hygienic, and efficient sample collection.

Key Responsibilities

- Blood Sample Collection: Collect blood samples from patients during home visits and at community health camps while following proper collection protocols.
- Home Sample Collection: Travel to patients’ homes and provide timely, qualified, and convenient sample collection services.
- Health Camp Participation: Actively participate in blood test camps organized in residential societies, corporate offices, and other designated locations.
- Equipment Management: Ensure that all necessary collection kits, needles, tubes, PPE, and other supplies are available and properly maintained.
- Patient Care: Explain the sample collection procedure to patients, address their concerns, and ensure their comfort throughout the process.
- Sample Handling: Follow proper procedures for sample labelling, storage, preservation, and transportation to maintain sample integrity.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient details, sample collections, and collection-related activities.
- Infection Control: Strictly adhere to hygiene standards, infection prevention protocols,



and biomedical waste disposal guidelines.
- Time Management: Complete assigned home visits and camp duties efficiently while maintaining punctuality and professional conduct.
- Independent Fieldwork: Manage assigned visits and local travel responsibly while coordinating with the operations team as required.

Qualifications and Skills

- Certificate or Diploma in Phlebotomy, Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT/DMLT), or a relevant field.
- 3–5 years of experience in blood sample collection preferred.
- Prior experience in home sample collection will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of venepuncture techniques and blood collection procedures.
- Good patient-handling, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of sample labelling, storage, preservation, and transportation.
- Understanding of infection control, hygiene, and biomedical waste management practices.
- Ability to travel locally for home collections and community health camps.
- Responsible, punctual, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends when required for health camps.

Work Schedule

Camp Days / Early Morning Collections: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

General Working Days (Non-Camp Days): 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Candidates should be comfortable with early-morning reporting on camp days and flexible scheduling based on operational requirements.

Compensation and Benefits

● Fixed monthly salary.
