Design develop modernize and migrate enterprise applications from GCP to Azure while ensuring code quality performance security and successful production deployment
Key Responsibilities
Analyze existing application components and participate in application assessment dependency analysis and migration planning activities
Implement application migration and modernization solutions using Azurenative services and cloudfirst design principles
Containerize applications using Docker and Kubernetes and support deployment to Azure Kubernetes Service AKS or other Azure hosting platforms
Refactor and enhance application code to improve scalability maintainability security and cloud compatibility
Develop and integrate REST APIs eventdriven services and messaging solutions using Azure services and enterprise integration patterns
Build and maintain CICD pipelines using GitHub Actions ensuring automated build test security scanning and deployment processes
Support application integration activities with databases Kafka APIs search platforms authentication providers and external enterprise systems
Perform unit testing integration testing defect resolution and production issue remediation to ensure application quality and stability
Collaborate with architects Azure leads DevOps engineers testers and application owners to deliver migration waves successfully
Support cutover deployment hypercare and postmigration optimization activities ensuring applications meet performance and operational requirements
