Job Description
Leadership & Team Management
• Lead and manage a team of QA Engineers and Automation Testers.
• Define QA processes, standards, and best practices across projects.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Managers to ensure quality deliverables.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the QA organization. Test Strategy & Planning
• Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and quality assurance roadmaps.
• Estimate testing effort, resource requirements, and project timelines.
• Identify testing risks and mitigation plans.
• Ensure test coverage across functional, integration, regression, API, performance, and end-to-end testing. Automation Testing
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.
• Drive automation adoption across projects and increase automation coverage.
• Review and optimize automated test scripts for reliability and maintainability.
• Establish automation standards and coding best practices.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. Quality Assurance & Execution
• Review test cases, test scripts, and defect reports.
• Monitor test execution and provide status reports to stakeholders.
• Manage defect triage and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Validate application functionality, performance, security, and usability requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production defects and quality issues. DevOps & Continuous Testing
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement continuous testing practices.




• Integrate automation suites with tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Support release management and deployment validation activities.
• Define and track quality metrics and KPIs. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills
• Strong experience in Automation Testing using tools such as:
• Selenium WebDriver
• Playwright
• Cypress
• TestNG / JUnit
• Cucumber (BDD)
• Experience in API testing using:
• Postman
• Rest Assured
• SOAP UI
• Programming experience in:
• Java (preferred)
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• Experience with CI/CD tools:
• Jenkins
• Azure DevOps
• GitHub Actions
• Knowledge of version control systems:
• Git
• Bitbucket
• Experience with defect management tools:
• JIRA
• Azure DevOps
• Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS,) is preferred. Leadership Skills
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to lead distributed and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in effort estimation, planning, and reporting.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Production Support Activities Experience & Education Experience
• 8-12+ years of overall QA experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years in a QA Lead or Test Lead role.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
