Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram for a Cost Analysis Engineer. The role involves analyzing product and component costs for office furniture and soft seating, preparing detailed cost breakdowns, and supporting pricing decisions. The Cost Analysis Engineer will collect and interpret production, material, and labor data to identify cost drivers and opportunities for savings. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing failure analysis and testing-related cost evaluations, reviewing simulations and design changes for cost impact, and collaborating with engineering, production, and procurement teams.



The position also requires preparing reports, maintaining cost databases, and supporting management with data-driven recommendations for budgeting and profitability improvement. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and Data Analysis capabilities to evaluate cost structures and identify trends.
• Candidates should possess skills in Failure Analysis and Testing to assess product performance and associated cost implications.
• Candidates should possess experience with Simulations to model design and process changes and estimate their impact on overall costs.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related field are beneficial.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, cost analysis tools, and basic statistics, along with attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills, is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly in written and verbal form, and work effectively in an on-site manufacturing environment is important.
• Experience in furniture manufacturing, production planning, or supply chain cost optimization will be considered an advantage.
