Cura Ayurvedic & Unani Limited
· Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh
· On-site
· Full-time WHY THIS SEAT EXISTS Cura is a twenty six year old wellness manufacturer that sold through trade for most of its life and is now building direct-to-consumer properly, our own store, the marketplaces, and a growing content and PR footprint behind them. Paid acquisition has never had an owner here. Nobody currently owns what a customer costs us, or what that customer is worth after the first order. This seat owns both, and builds the measurement that makes either number trustworthy. WHAT YOU'LL OWN
• Every rupee of paid media Cura spends. Meta, Google, YouTube, and marketplace advertising on Amazon and Flipkart, held as one view of acquisition cost rather than as separate platform reports.
• The creative testing pipeline. Not requesting ad creative and waiting. Deciding what hypothesis each piece of creative exists to test, briefing our design and video team against it, and judging what won and why.
• Lifecycle and retention. Email, CRM, and the journey from first order to repeat order. In supplements that is where the economics actually live, and it is currently nobody's job.
• The measurement framework. GA4, attribution, and one honest view of what paid is producing — including closing the tracking gaps rather than reporting around them.
• The monthly performance picture. One report to the CMO that someone outside marketing could read, with a recommendation on where the next rupee should go attached to it. WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT
• Not media buying alone. We are not looking for someone to execute a plan that someone else wrote. The strategy is part of the seat.
• Not organic search. Our SEO seat owns technical search, keyword architecture and answer-engine visibility.
• Not social content or community. Our social seat owns the calendar, the channels and the conversations. You own paid distribution, not the organic feed.
• Not store or catalogue operations.
Our E-commerce Manager owns listings, inventory, pricing and fulfilment. Marketplace advertising sits with you; the listings underneath it sit with her, and the two of you agree the handover.
• Not creative production. We have a design and video team in-house. You brief them and you judge the output; you are not the one making it. WHAT GOOD LOOKS LIKE BY DAY 90
• A measurement baseline everyone trusts — tracking gaps closed, attribution agreed, and a single dashboard the CMO reads without needing it explained.
• A structured testing cadence running across creative and audience, with a written log rather than remembered results.
• A first honest read on acquisition cost by channel and by product, and a recommendation on where spend should move next. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR Three things decide this hire. 1. You have owned a direct-to-consumer paid account end to end, not a slice of one. You set the account structure, you made the spend calls, and you were the person accountable for the number — not the person reporting into them. 2. You think in unit economics, not platform metrics. You know that the ROAS inside Ads Manager and the money in the bank are different numbers, and you work to the second one. 3. You can brief creative and judge it. Most performance marketers request creative and hope. The good ones decide what a creative is testing before it is made, and can say afterwards why one ad beat another. Also helpful:
• Four to seven years in performance marketing, with D2C or FMCG experience
• Hands-on across Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads; marketplace advertising a plus
• GA4 and attribution to a diagnostic standard, able to fix a tracking gap, not only report around it
• Email and CRM platform experience, on Klaviyo, WebEngage or similar
• Hindi and English both. A large share of our customers search, read and buy in Hindi
• Wellness, supplements or another regulated category is a plus, not a requirement THE CATEGORY REALITY Cura sells wellness products, and that is a regulated category in India. Ad copy, landing pages and creative all count as advertising in the regulatory sense, and there are claims we will not make at any price, no disease cure, no treatment promise, no time-bound result. Some of the highest-performing angles in wellness are simply not available to us. When that happens the answer is to find a different angle, not a way around the rule. If that reads as a constraint you would want to work around, this is not the right seat. If it reads as an interesting problem, you will like it here. HOW WE HIRE
• A first conversation with the CMO, the accounts you have owned, what you actually decided on them, and compensation discussed openly before we ask anything further of you.
• A working session on a real Cura problem, with the numbers in front of us. A conversation, not a test.
• A paid work sample for final candidates only: a thirty-day paid plan for one Cura product, with the testing structure and the measurement you would put behind it. Paid at a flat fee agreed before you begin (Hence, you will be compensated for the same)
• A final conversation with the CMO and the Executive Director. Four stages, usually inside three weeks. We tell you where you stand after each one.
HOW TO APPLY
• Send your CV to
[email protected] with a short note naming one paid account you owned, roughly what it spent, and one decision you made on it that you would still defend today. No cover letter. We would rather read the one decision.
