Role Description The Assistant Head of Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore, responsible for supporting the overall management and optimization of day-to-day transport operations. This role includes monitoring fleet performance, overseeing dispatch activities, tracking deliveries, and ensuring adherence to safety and compliance standards. The Assistant Head of Operations will coordinate with internal teams and external partners, manage resource allocation, and help implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality. Additional responsibilities include assisting with budgeting, preparing operational reports, supporting team leadership, and resolving operational issues promptly.



The role requires close collaboration with the Head of Operations to execute strategic plans and maintain consistent operational performance. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills, including process optimization and coordination of transport or logistics activities.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support data-driven decision-making.
• Candidates should possess effective Team Management and Communication skills to lead staff, coordinate across departments, and maintain clear, skilled interactions with stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess Budgeting skills, including basic financial planning, cost control, and resource allocation for operational activities.
• Relevant experience in logistics, transport, or supply chain operations is highly beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills are expected.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with transport management or ERP systems is advantageous.
