Wanawadi, Pune (Headquarter) | Full time | 1 position | Immediate joining | Reports to the CEO | Remuneration commensurate with experience About the organisation Open Links Foundation (OLF) is a technology-driven NGO working to improve the quality of education in government schools at scale, in partnership with the government and through the use of technology and behavioural science. Its Vinoba Program strengthens the efficiency of government education initiatives and supports and motivates teachers. In the last four years, Vinoba has grown from a few hundred schools to 74,000+ schools, reaching over 54 lakh students across 42 districts in Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar, with a team of about 150 people. The opportunity OLF is entering its next phase of growth and scale. Building a strong, capable and values-driven organisation is central to its ability to deliver its mission. The Chief People Officer will build the talent, leadership, culture and organisational capabilities required to support that growth, and will lead OLF’s talent, leadership development, performance, culture and people systems so that the organisation has the capability, culture and organisational effectiveness needed to achieve its mission at scale. What you will own
• Talent Acquisition & Retention — Ensure OLF has the right talent in the right roles at the pace its growth demands, while strengthening retention and building a strong talent pipeline.




• Leadership & Employee Development — Build a capable and future-ready organisation by strengthening managerial and qualified capabilities, developing a leadership pipeline, and ensuring succession for key roles.
• Performance & Organisational Effectiveness — Create a high-performance, accountable organisation where people have clear goals, receive regular feedback, and are aligned with organisational priorities and outcomes.
• Employee Engagement & Culture — Build an engaged, inclusive and values-driven organisation where people feel connected to OLF’s mission, take ownership, and are motivated to perform, contribute and grow.
• HR Systems, Operations & Compliance — Build efficient and compliant people systems and processes that support growth while ensuring a consistent and positive employee experience. What we are looking for
• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration (HR), or a related field
• 12–15 years of relevant HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role
• Proven experience building and implementing HR systems and processes across talent acquisition, employee development, performance management and organisational culture
• Experience scaling organisations, managing diverse teams and driving organisational effectiveness
• Strong understanding of employment laws, HR policies and people analytics
• Experience in the social sector or a mission-driven organisation is desirable
