Job Description
This is a permanent role with a valued client Hallmark Search Partners. Position Overview The Senior Engineer
- SDV will develop and provide technical and architectural direction for SDV software components, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions across vehicle platforms.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead design and implementation of SDV software components
• Own technical architecture and design decisions
• Guide teams working on OTA/FOTA, middleware, and platform services
• Review code, designs, and ensure adherence to engineering standards
• Mentor engineers and drive technical excellence
• Collaborate with Product Owner on roadmap and technical feasibility Required Skills And Qualifications




• Robust hands-on experience in C++ (modern C++) and Design Patterns
• Knowledge of communication protocols: CAN, J1939, Ethernet
• Proficiency in debugging (using GDB) and performance optimization of embedded Linux–based distributed systems
• Good working knowledge of Python, Linux, and Docker
• Experience with OTA/FOTA systems and SDV architecture
• Experience in embedded Linux or automotive platforms
• Ability to balance technical depth and leadership Nice To Have
• AUTOSAR Adaptive, SOME/IP, DDS
• Automotive Ethernet
• Working knowledge of automotive diagnostic protocols (UDS, DoIP, SOVD) optionally with practical exposure
• Exposure to Functional Safety (e.g., ISO 26262) and Cybersecurity practices (e.g. ISO/SAE 21434, CRA)
