Professionals joining Smartworks contribute to environments that enhance productivity and workplace satisfaction. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Mumbai. The Interior Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing functional, aesthetically pleasing workspace designs aligned with Smartworks’ brand and client requirements. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with internal teams and clients to understand design briefs, preparing layouts and design presentations, coordinating space planning, selecting finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment, and creating detailed construction drawings. The role involves working closely with project management, vendors,



and contractors to ensure design intent is executed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Interior Designer will also contribute to maintaining and expanding Smartworks’ design library and supporting continuous improvement of campus design guidelines. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Interior Design and Architecture for commercial and office environments.
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Space Planning to optimize functionality, circulation, and workplace ergonomics.
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Construction Drawings, including detailed plans, sections, and elevations for execution.
• Candidates should possess strong skills in FF&E; (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, specification, and coordination.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar), and familiarity with office design standards.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with experience in commercial or workplace projects.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work in office and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail, creativity, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
