Role Description The F&B; Associate is a full-time, on-site position based at Ran Baas, The Palace in Lucknow. This role is responsible for welcoming guests, presenting menus, taking orders, and serving food and beverages in a courteous and efficient manner. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and clearing tables, maintaining cleanliness in dining areas, coordinating with kitchen staff, and ensuring orders are delivered accurately and on time. The F&B; Associate supports smooth operations during regular service and events, handles guest queries and feedback, and adheres to safety, hygiene, and quality standards. The role requires consistent punctuality, teamwork,



and a professional appearance. Qualifications
• Strong Food Service and Food & Beverage knowledge, with the ability to follow service standards and basic restaurant protocols.
• Proven Customer Service skills, including a polite, guest-focused attitude and the ability to handle requests and concerns calmly.
• Effective Communication skills for interacting with guests, team members, and kitchen staff, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic Culinary Skills, such as understanding menu items, ingredients, and simple food handling practices.
• Prior experience in restaurants, hotels, or catering is preferred, especially in front-of-house roles.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible shifts, and perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and sanitization procedures, with attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Minimum high school education or equivalent; formal hospitality or F&B; training is an advantage.
