Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management, located at Amity University’s (Amity Global Business School) Bengaluru campus. The Assistant Professor will design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Human Resource Management, ensuring alignment with academic standards and industry practices. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, evaluating student performance, mentoring students, and providing academic advising. The role also involves conducting and publishing research in HRM and related fields, participating in curriculum development, contributing to academic committees, and engaging in departmental and university activities.



The Assistant Professor is expected to build industry linkages, support internships and placements, and actively contribute to the university’s culture of excellence and values-based education. Qualifications
• Advanced academic qualifications in Human Resource Management or closely related field (PhD preferred; minimum of a master’s degree with specialization in HRM or Organizational Behavior).
• Demonstrated expertise in core HR domains such as talent acquisition, performance management, training and development, compensation and perks, and employee relations.
• Strong teaching competencies, including curriculum planning, learner-centered pedagogy, classroom management, and student assessment at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Research abilities encompassing quantitative and/or qualitative methods, academic writing, publication in peer-reviewed journals, and participation in conferences and scholarly forums.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to facilitate interactive learning and engage a diverse student body.
• Experience using educational technology and learning management systems, and openness to innovative teaching tools and digital resources.
• Proven ability to collaborate with colleagues, contribute to departmental initiatives, and participate in academic and administrative committees.
• Industry exposure in HR or consulting, or prior teaching experience in HRM, business, or management disciplines is highly desirable.
