20+ Years About the Opportunity SWYN is seeking an experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) for a well-established, multi-generational family-owned textile business with a strong legacy in textile manufacturing, trading, and retail. With an extensive catalogue of approximately 80,000 SKUs and operations spanning B2B and B2C channels, the business is looking to strengthen its operational systems, streamline processes, and establish a scalable operating model to support its next phase of growth. We are looking for a hands-on operations leader with deep experience in the textile trade who can work closely with the founders and existing team to drive operational excellence and professionalise day-to-day business management.

Key Responsibilities
• Operations Management: Oversee and streamline end-to-end business operations across sourcing, procurement, inventory, warehousing, order fulfilment, and distribution.
• Inventory & SKU Management: Establish robust inventory control systems, improve stock visibility, reduce dead stock, and optimise inventory movement across a large product catalogue.
• Supply Chain & Vendor Management: Strengthen supplier relationships, improve procurement processes, optimise lead times, and ensure consistent product availability.
• ERP & Process Standardisation: Lead ERP stabilisation and adoption, improve data accuracy, and implement standardised operational workflows across business functions.
• SOPs & Operational Excellence: Develop and implement SOPs, accountability frameworks, and performance metrics to improve efficiency and execution.
• B2B & B2C Operations: Streamline operational processes across wholesale, retail, and other sales channels while ensuring seamless coordination between teams.
• Team Leadership: Build operational discipline, define roles and responsibilities,



and establish a structured reporting and review cadence.
• Business Scalability: Develop operational systems and processes that can support expansion into new markets, product categories, and distribution channels.
• Founder Collaboration: Work directly with the founding family to identify operational bottlenecks, drive implementation, and establish sustainable management practices. Ideal Candidate Profile
• 15–20+ years of experience in operations leadership, preferably as a COO, Head of Operations, Business Operations Head, or equivalent.
• Strong experience in textile trading, fabric distribution, apparel, textile manufacturing, or related businesses.
• Proven expertise in inventory management, procurement, supply chain, warehousing, and distribution.
• Experience managing high-SKU businesses and complex product catalogues.
• Hands-on experience with ERP implementation, stabilisation, and operational process improvement.
• Prior experience working with family-owned or promoter-led businesses is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and execution capabilities.
• A practical, hands-on approach with the ability to work closely with founders and existing teams. Engagement Details

Delhi NCR, with in office engagement.
• Commitment: Approximately 1–2 days per week.
• Initial phase: 2-month operational diagnostic, followed by a 6-month execution phase.
