About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with 5 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation. The ideal candidate will work closely with product and development teams throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure that applications and features meet defined quality standards. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium, SpecFlow, and BDD frameworks, along with performing UI and API testing. Strong analytical skills, programming fundamentals, and experience with test automation frameworks are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
• Analyze business and technical requirements to design and develop effective test cases and automated test scripts.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, SpecFlow, and BDD frameworks.
• Apply the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern to build maintainable and reusable automation scripts.
• Perform UI and API testing to validate application functionality, reliability, and performance against defined requirements.
• Use tools such as Postman and Swagger for API testing and validation.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Monitor automated test execution results, including scheduled automation jobs, and investigate test failures.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation scripts to improve reliability, reusability, and test coverage.
• Follow established QA processes, coding standards,



and automation best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members to resolve defects and improve overall product quality.
• Participate in testing activities across the software development and deployment lifecycle. Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5 years of experience in software testing and QA automation.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and automated test script development.
• Working knowledge of BDD frameworks and SpecFlow.
• Experience implementing the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern.
• Practical experience in UI automation and API testing.
• Familiarity with Postman and Swagger for API validation.
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests using frameworks and tools such as Selenium and Cucumber.
• Knowledge of SQL Server and the ability to write SQL queries for data validation.
• Understanding of programming fundamentals, software development concepts, and the software testing lifecycle.
• Experience identifying, reporting, tracking, and validating software defects.
