Role Description The Plumbing Design Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in the Pune Division. The role involves designing plumbing and water supply systems for building projects, preparing layouts, schematics, and detailed drawings, and coordinating with other MEP disciplines to ensure integrated solutions. The engineer will perform calculations for sizing pipes, pumps, and storage, review codes and standards, and prepare technical specifications and BOQs. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with project managers and architects, reviewing and updating drawings, participating in design review meetings,



and supporting site teams with technical clarifications as needed. The role may also involve working with BIM tools for model coordination and ensuring designs meet safety, efficiency, and sustainability requirements. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Plumbing and Plumbing Design for building and infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of Water Supply systems, including storage, distribution, and fixture selection.
• Experience with Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) coordination and integrated Building Services design.
• Ability to interpret and produce technical drawings; familiarity with CAD and BIM/Revit is an advantage.
• Understanding of relevant plumbing codes, standards, and local regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving capability, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Prior experience in building services consulting or construction industry is preferred.
