Role: Semantic Modeling and Business Intelligence Design and maintain reusable enterprise semantic models for Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, enabling governed self-service analytics and consistent business metrics.

Key Responsibilities
• Define business-friendly entities, relationships, hierarchies, measures, KPIs, calculation logic, descriptions, and synonyms.
• Optimize models for Direct Lake, Import, DirectQuery, or composite patterns based on solution requirements.
• Partner with BI developers to centralize business logic and reduce duplicated calculations across reports.
• Lead data discovery and modeling workshops with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, data architects, engineers, and reporting teams.




• Translate business processes and analytical requirements into facts, dimensions, relationships, grain definitions, and reporting-ready structures.
• Analyze and profile source-system data, identify gaps, and define transformation and integration requirements.
• Prepare source-to-target mappings and communicate model decisions, assumptions, dependencies, and risks.
• Provide design guidance and review support throughout development, testing, deployment, and production stabilization.
