About the Role
We are looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to support product development, sampling, buyer coordination, and order execution for soft plush toys. The role involves coordinating with design, sampling, production, procurement, quality, and logistics teams to ensure product quality and timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities
• Handle buyer inquiries, product development, sampling, and order execution.
• Coordinate prototype development, sample approvals, and design changes.
• Maintain sample tracking sheets, Time & Action (T&A;) calendars, and order status records.
• Coordinate with buyers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth order execution.
• Follow up with production, procurement, and sourcing teams for timely raw material availability.
• Assist with product costing, price negotiations, and commercial documentation.
• Monitor production timelines, quality inspections, and buyer-specific requirements.




• Support compliance with international toy safety standards, including EN71 and ASTM.
• Maintain PI sheets, order sheets, BOMs, approval records, and other merchandising documents.
• Coordinate shipment planning, dispatch schedules, and logistics documentation. Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant merchandising experience.
• Experience in soft toys, plush manufacturing, home textiles, home furnishing, apparel, or soft goods preferred.
• Understanding of fabrics, fillings, trims, accessories, and product specifications.
• Knowledge of product costing, sampling, buyer coordination, and production follow-ups.
• Familiarity with merchandising documentation and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of EN71 and ASTM toy safety standards is an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
