Role Description The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations to ensure all hospital areas are clean, hygienic, and well maintained. This full-time, on-site role is based in Ahmedabad and includes supervising housekeeping staff, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance to meet hospital cleanliness standards. The role involves inspecting patient rooms, corridors, public areas, and clinical spaces, coordinating with the laundry team, and ensuring proper use of cleaning materials and equipment. The Housekeeping Supervisor will handle scheduling, training, and staff guidance, respond to housekeeping-related service requests, and address patient and visitor concerns promptly and professionally.



The position also requires maintaining compliance with infection control protocols, safety procedures, and hospital policies, while collaborating with nursing and administrative teams to support smooth daily operations. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills to manage housekeeping teams, allocate duties, monitor quality, and support staff training and development.
• Candidates should possess Housekeeping experience, including knowledge of hospital cleaning standards, infection control practices, and use of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Candidates should possess Laundry-related skills to oversee linen handling, cleaning processes, and timely distribution of fresh linens to various hospital departments.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with patients, visitors, and staff, handle feedback, and resolve service-related issues professionally.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in a hospital or healthcare environment, understanding of safety and hygiene regulations, basic computer literacy for reporting and scheduling, and the ability to work flexible schedule when required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; a diploma or certificate in hospitality, facility management, or a related field is an advantage.
