Job Purpose/ Summary Responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day blast furnace operations to ensure safe, stable, and efficient production of hot metal in line with plant targets and quality standards. The role includes monitoring process parameters, optimizing furnace performance, coordinating with maintenance and utility teams, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental regulations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The position also involves manpower supervision, production planning, troubleshooting operational issues, minimizing downtime, and maintaining operational excellence to achieve productivity, cost efficiency, and quality objectives within the Metallics.

Job Description
The Deputy Manager for Support BF Operation WML is tasked with overseeing and managing the daily operations of the blast furnace to ensure the safe, stable, and efficient production of hot metal. This role is critical in aligning production with plant targets and maintaining quality standards. The Deputy Manager will be responsible for monitoring process parameters and optimizing furnace performance. Coordination with maintenance and utility teams is essential to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime. The role demands strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Manpower supervision and production planning are key components, along with troubleshooting operational issues. The Deputy Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational excellence, achieving productivity, cost efficiency,



and quality objectives within the Metallics department.
