Role Description The Sales Marketing Manager – B2B Exhibition is a full time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities for B2B exhibitions and trade fairs, including prospecting, lead generation, and managing the sales pipeline. The manager will build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, industry associations, and partners, pitch exhibition concepts, and negotiate contracts to meet revenue and occupancy targets. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing sales and marketing campaigns, coordinating with internal teams on event concepts and timelines, and ensuring consistent brand messaging across digital and offline channels. The role also involves conducting market research, tracking competitor activity,



preparing performance reports, and actively participating in events to support client engagement and satisfaction. Qualifications
• Strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, client relationship management, and negotiation.
• Drive space selling, stall sales & bookings through prospecting, meetings, and client visits.
• Manage end-to-end client coordination: bookings, payments, documentation, and after-sales support with explicit communication
• Knowledge of digital marketing practices and tools, such as social media campaigns, email marketing, and basic analytics.
• Ability to plan and coordinate events or trade fairs, working effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines and targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; relevant experience in exhibitions or events is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site in Chennai and travel locally or regionally for client meetings and events as needed.
• Provide daily and weekly reports to management.
