Role Description The PGT – Physics will design and deliver engaging Physics lessons for senior secondary classes in alignment with CBSE guidelines and the school’s academic standards. Responsibilities include planning lesson plans, preparing teaching materials, conducting classroom instruction, and using practical demonstrations and experiments to deepen conceptual understanding. The role also involves assessing student performance, maintaining academic records, providing individual support, and preparing learners for board examinations and competitive entrance tests. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues, participate in school activities, support co-curricular programs, and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment. This is a full time,



on-site role based in Haridwar. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in core Physics concepts and principles, with the ability to teach senior secondary-level Physics effectively.
• Knowledge of Radiation and its applications, with the ability to explain related topics clearly and safely where relevant.
• Understanding of Theoretical Physics and advanced Physics topics appropriate for senior secondary curricula.
• Awareness of Medical Physics concepts to connect Physics learning with real-world and interdisciplinary applications when appropriate.
• Skills in Physics Education, including student-centered pedagogy, use of experiments, demonstrations, and educational technology to enhance learning.
• Master’s degree in Physics (or closely related field) with a B.
Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
• Experience teaching Physics at the senior secondary level, ideally in a CBSE environment.
• Effective classroom management, communication, and mentoring skills, with the ability to support diverse learning needs.
• Comfort with using digital tools for lesson planning, assessments, and blended learning.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and alignment with the school’s values of encouraging, educating, and empowering learners.
