About the role
We are looking for a Salesforce Tester to own quality assurance across our Salesforce implementations and support work. You will test CPQ, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud solutions, including their integrations with other systems, write and run test cases, and work closely with consultants, developers and client stakeholders to make sure releases are correct before they reach production. This is a fully remote, full-time position. Responsibilities
• Analyze requirements and user stories,



and create test plans, test scenarios and detailed test cases
• Test end-to-end business processes across Sales Cloud (leads, opportunities, accounts, forecasting), Service Cloud (cases, queues, entitlements, Knowledge) and CPQ (products, pricing, quoting, contracts)
• Validate CPQ configuration such as product bundles, price rules, product rules, discount schedules, approvals and quote document generation
• Run functional, regression, integration, UAT-support and smoke testing across sandboxes and release cycles
• Plan and execute integration testing between Salesforce and external systems (e.g. ERP, billing, CRM/marketing tools, middleware such as MuleSoft), covering inbound and outbound data flows, field mappings, data transformations, sync timing and record ownership
• Test API-based integrations (REST/SOAP, platform events, outbound messages, batch jobs), including positive, negative and edge cases such as failed calls, retries, duplicate records, timeouts and malformed payloads
• Verify end-to-end data integrity across systems, for example quote to order to invoice, or case and account sync, and reconcile data between Salesforce and the target system
• Use tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Workbench or similar to trigger and validate integration calls, and review integration logs and error queues to diagnose failures
• Log, track and retest defects with clear reproduction steps, working with developers and consultants to resolve them
• Test data setup, and profile and permission set validation
• Maintain and improve regression packs and test documentation,



including integration test scenarios Required qualifications
• 5+ years of software testing experience (manual testing required; automation is a plus)
• 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce testing or delivery experience, including at least 1 year with Salesforce CPQ
• Solid working knowledge of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
• Hands-on experience testing integrations between Salesforce and other systems, including API testing and validating data flows end to end
• Working understanding of integration concepts: REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML payloads, authentication, and sync patterns (real-time vs. batch)
• Ability to explain basic CPQ concepts clearly, for example:
• Product catalog, bundles, options and features
• Price books, list vs. net price, and pricing methods
• Price rules, product rules and discount schedules
• Quote lines, quote templates and approval flows
• Contracts, amendments and renewals
• Experience writing test cases, managing defects (e.g. Jira, Azure DevOps) and working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and clear written and spoken English
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote team Certifications
• Highly desired: Salesforce Certified Administrator
• Highly desired: at least one Salesforce consultant certification (e.g. Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, or CPQ Specialist) Nice to have
• Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Provar, Copado Robotic Testing or similar)
• Experience with integration or middleware platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato or similar) and API automation
