JOB DESCRIPTION
We are hiring a Business Analyst to translate Treasury's needs into well-defined, workflow-driven systems. The Group runs a large investment book and a diversified borrowing programme, so Treasury depends on accurate deal capture, approvals, limits, cash and liquidity visibility, and reporting. You will sit between the Treasury desk (front, mid and back office), Finance, Risk, Compliance and Technology. Your job is to turn how Treasury actually works into explicit requirements, automated workflows and reliable data, and to see those changes through to go-live. Role Expectations: ● Requirements and process analysis ○ Gather and document business requirements (BRD / FRD / user stories) for treasury processes across investments, borrowings, liquidity, cash management and collateral. ○ Map current and target-state processes, spot manual hand-offs and control gaps, and propose automation. ● Workflow design ○ Design end-to-end workflows for deal capture, multi-level approvals, limit checks, confirmations, settlement and reconciliation, with clear roles, maker-checker controls and audit trails. ○ Define business rules, SLAs, escalations and exception handling inside each workflow. ● Investment and borrowing operations ○ Support requirements for investment instruments (G-secs, T-bills, CPs, CDs, bonds, mutual funds) and borrowing instruments (bank lines, NCDs, CPs, term loans), including interest accruals, maturities, repayments and covenant tracking. ○ Work with Treasury on liquidity and cash-flow forecasting, exposure and counterparty-limit views. ● Treasury product and platform ○ Build deep functional knowledge of the treasury product in use: the deal lifecycle (capture, validation, approval, confirmation, settlement, accounting, maturity), instrument and counterparty masters, limit and rate set-ups, and user roles. ○ Run fit-gap analysis between product capabilities and Treasury requirements,

and agree with Technology and the vendor what is configuration, customisation or a workaround. ○ Own the product backlog with Treasury: prioritise enhancements, review vendor release notes, assess impact before upgrades and coordinate regression testing. ○ Document and maintain product configuration: product parameters, workflow rules, templates, report formats and access matrices. ○ Specify product integrations with banks (payment files, statements), market data, depositories and the general ledger. ○ Act as first-line functional expert for production issues: reproduce, find the root cause and work with vendor support to resolve. ● Delivery and change management ○ Partner with Technology and vendors (including treasury product vendors) to translate requirements into specifications, review designs and track delivery. ○ Plan and run UAT, write test cases, manage defects and sign-offs, and support go-live and post-go-live stabilisation. ○ Prepare training material and user guides for Treasury and Finance teams. ● Reporting and data ○ Define MIS, dashboards and regulatory or management reports (liquidity, investment portfolio, borrowing profile, interest cost, limit utilisation). ○ Ensure data integrity between the treasury system, general ledger, bank statements and other source systems. ● Governance ○ Keep documentation, change logs and process controls audit-ready; support internal and statutory audit queries.

Qualifications:
● 4–6 years of total experience,

of which 2–3 years as a Business Analyst or functional consultant on treasury, capital-markets, banking or NBFC systems. ● Hands-on experience with a treasury product or platform (implementation, configuration, support or functional ownership), covering the deal lifecycle for investments and borrowings. ● Hands-on experience designing and documenting workflows (approval chains, rule-based routing, maker-checker, exception handling) on that platform. ● Experience taking requirements through the full cycle: elicitation, specification, UAT and go-live. ● Working knowledge of treasury products and processes: money market and debt instruments, borrowings, liquidity management and interest computation. ● Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Engineering or a related field; MBA (Finance), CA, CFA or FRM is a plus but not mandatory. Good to Have ● Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, especially General Ledger and Cash Management, plus Payables and Receivables where treasury flows touch them ● Understanding of how the treasury product posts to Oracle Fusion: accounting entries, GL and account mapping, period close and bank reconciliation. ● Ability to write functional specifications for file-based or API-based integrations between the treasury product and Oracle Fusion, and to run UAT on the accounting flows. ● Comfortable working with Finance and the Oracle Fusion team to resolve posting and reconciliation breaks.
