About the role
You will own how CITTA’s content reaches people and turns them into customers. This is a hands-on role that covers the full journey, from creating and publishing to distributing and measuring across owned channels (website, blog, email, WhatsApp, social) and earned and partner channels (creators, PR, marketplaces). You will make sure every launch, festive moment, and product story is told consistently and in the right place.

Key responsibilities
Content creation and publishing
• Plan, write, and edit content across blogs, product pages, ingredient explainers, newsletters, and social captions
• Brief and manage freelancers, designers, video editors, and creators to deliver on time
• Turn product, formulation, and R&D; inputs into clear, claim-safe consumer content Distribution and growth
• Run email and WhatsApp flows (welcome, post-purchase, replenishment, festive campaigns)
• Manage SEO for the blog and category pages: keywords, on-page optimisation, internal linking
• Repurpose long-form content into Reels, carousels, and short-form formats
• Coordinate content for influencer seeding, PR kits, and festive and gifting campaigns Planning and performance
• Maintain a monthly content calendar aligned to launches, sales, and festive moments
• Track performance (traffic, engagement, email metrics, conversions) and report monthly




• Run content experiments (formats, hooks, subject lines) and scale what works Brand and compliance
• Keep all content aligned with the brand book and tone of voice
• Ensure claims follow beauty and advertising norms (no medical or exaggerated claims) Requirements
• 3-5 years in content marketing, preferably in beauty, personal care, wellness, or D2C
• Excellent written English; Hinglish fluency is a plus
• Working knowledge of SEO tools (GA4, Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs or similar)
• Hands-on experience with email/WhatsApp platforms (Klaviyo, WebEngage, MoEngage, or similar)
• Comfort with Shopify or another CMS, Canva, Notion, and Google Workspace
• Ability to manage multiple projects and external contributors at once
• A portfolio of published work with measurable results Valuable to have
• Understanding of skincare ingredients and routines
• Interest in Indian art, textiles, and craft heritage
• Experience with creator and influencer collaborations
• Basic video and Reels scripting skills What success looks like (first 6-12 months)
• A consistent publishing rhythm with a live, owned content calendar
• Growth in organic traffic and email-driven revenue
• A repeatable content system for every product launch and festive season.
