Ltd. is seeking a highly accomplished and result-oriented General Manager – EXIM to lead and scale its global export & import operations across international markets. This leadership role will be responsible for ensuring flawless EXIM operations, strengthening global customer relationships, optimizing international supply chains, and ensuring complete regulatory compliance for frozen food exports. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in the frozen food manufacturing industry, international trade, cold-chain logistics, export compliance, and global market development. The incumbent will serve as the strategic leader connecting international customers, manufacturing operations, quality systems, logistics partners, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure sustainable growth of EXIM operations and its operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
End-to-End EXIM Operations Leadership
• Provide overall leadership for export operations from order receipt to payment realization.
• Ensure seamless execution of:
• Order management
• Production coordination
• Shipment planning
• Documentation
• Customs clearance
• Freight management
• Customer delivery
• Monitor vessel schedules, reefer container availability, shipment timelines, and export commitments.
• Ensure optimal utilization of shipping resources and logistics cost management. Frozen Food Export Logistics & Cold Chain Management
• Lead export logistics operations involving frozen and temperature-controlled products.
• Ensure maintenance of cold-chain integrity throughout:
• Storage
• Inland transportation
• Port handling
• International transit
• Manage relationships with:
• Shipping lines
• Freight forwarders
• Customs brokers
• Cold storage operators
• Logistics service providers
• Minimize demurrage, detention, container rollover, and cargo claims. Regulatory Compliance & Governance
• Ensure compliance with all applicable export regulations and international trade requirements.
• Oversee documentation and compliance related to:
• DGFT
• ICEGATE
• APEDA
• Customs regulations
• Foreign Trade Policy




• Ensure readiness and compliance for international customer audits and regulatory inspections.
• Monitor changing global trade regulations, import requirements, and market access conditions. APEDA registration, RCMC management, export procedures, and food-product export compliance are critical requirements for processed food exporters. Food Safety, Quality & Certification Management
• Work closely with Quality Assurance and Manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with customer and country-specific requirements.
• Support and maintain export readiness concerning:
• HACCP
• BRCGS
• FSSC 22000
• ISO 22000
• Halal
• Other customer-mandated certifications
• Ensure export products meet international quality, traceability, labeling, and documentation requirements. Food safety certifications and cold-chain compliance are foundational requirements in the frozen food export industry. Trade Finance & Commercial Controls
• Coordinate with Finance for:
• Letter of Credit (LC) review and compliance
• Advance payments
• Export documentation
• Payment realization
• Banking compliance
• Monitor foreign exchange risks and international payment exposures.
• Ensure timely realization of export proceeds. Leadership & Team Development
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Export, Logistics, Documentation, and International Business teams.
• Establish a high-performance culture focused on accountability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
• Build succession plans and capability development programs for the EXIM function.

• Export Claim Incidents CANDIDATE PROFILE Education Essential: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, International Trade, Logistics, Engineering, Food Technology, or related discipline. Preferred: MBA in International Business / Supply Chain Management / Export Management.
• Diploma or Certification in International Trade, EXIM, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Mandatory
• Minimum 18 years of total experience in Export-Import (EXIM), International Trade, Export Logistics, or International Business functions.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership position with end – to – end responsibility of EXIM Operations.
• Proven experience managing export operations in a frozen food, seafood, meat processing, ready-to-cook, ready-to-eat, IQF foods, or other temperature-controlled food manufacturing setting.
• Experience handling export volumes, customer complexity, and operational scale comparable to Iscon Balaji Foods Pvt. Ltd..
