Role Description The Chief Manager MediaOne TV role is a full-time, on-site position based in Thiruvananthapuram Taluk. This role oversees daily broadcast operations, ensuring news content meets editorial, technical, and regulatory standards. The Chief Manager coordinates with newsroom, production, and technical teams to plan programming schedules, manage live telecasts, and optimize viewer engagement. Responsibilities include leading and mentoring team members, resolving operational issues, and maintaining high levels of audience satisfaction and brand integrity.



The role also involves collaborating with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, resource allocation, and process improvements to support channel growth and performance. Qualifications
• Strong broadcasting and television operations skills, with experience in news channel workflows.
• Customer service and audience engagement skills to ensure viewer satisfaction and responsiveness.
• Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with editorial, technical, and management teams.
• Proven team management and team leadership abilities, including mentoring and performance oversight.
• Experience in news media or broadcast journalism, preferably in Malayalam news channels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies, Journalism, Communication, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards in television broadcasting.
