Location:
Mumbai. What will you do?
• Maintain accurate financial data, update records, and ensure the timely entry of transactions into the accounting system.
• Assist with daily accounting activities, including purchase and sales entries, expense tracking, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
• Record and manage financial transactions in Tally, maintain vouchers, and assist with basic accounting reports.
• Prepare, verify, and record sales and purchase invoices, bills, and supporting documents.
• Assist in tracking outstanding payments, vendor dues, customer receipts, and payment records.
• Assist with basic bank reconciliation and identify discrepancies between bank statements and accounting records.
• Organise and maintain financial documents, bills, receipts, and other accounting records for easy retrieval.
• Help prepare basic financial statements, expense summaries, and periodic accounting reports.
• Assist the finance team with documentation and records required for GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance,



as applicable.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to collect invoices, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely submission of financial information. Who are we looking for?
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel (formulas, PivotTables, reconciliations) and comfort working with digital tools and cloud-based systems.
• Strong foundational accounting knowledge, including journal entries, ledgers, reconciliations, and basic financial reporting.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in numerical work, and solid organizational skills to manage multiple accounts, invoices, and deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and vendors.
• Understanding of Indian taxation basics (GST, TDS), compliance requirements, and documentation standards is highly beneficial.
• Prior experience in media, advertising, or entertainment finance is a plus.
