New Delhi
Job Description
— Operations Executive Role at a glance Title Operations Executive Company Suit Up by Kailash Talreja Location Preet Vihar, New Delhi (on-site) Reports to Kailash Talreja, Founder & Master Tailor Type Full-time Working days 6 days a week, including weekends (peak client days) Experience 1–3 years in operations, customer service or sales coordination
About us
Suit Up by Kailash Talreja is a bespoke menswear studio with a tailoring lineage that began in 1930s Sindh and was re-established in Delhi in 1948. We have handcrafted 25,000+ suits and dressed 1,000+ grooms, with a 4.9★ Google rating. We make suits, bandhgalas, sherwanis, waistcoats, shirts and trousers to measure. Clients meet Kailash Talreja in person at our Preet Vihar studio or over a virtual appointment, and we ship finished garments across India and abroad. Role purpose You keep every client moving from first enquiry to delivered garment without anything slipping. You own the front desk of the business — leads, bookings, records and dispatch — so Kailash Talreja can spend his time cutting and fitting.
Key responsibilities
1. Lead management
• Respond within 2
working hours
to every new lead from Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram), Google Ads, LinkedIn, organic Instagram and Facebook, WhatsApp, the website and phone.
• Capture every lead in our lead and order management portal on arrival, tagged by source and campaign.
• Qualify each lead: garment, occasion, event date, budget, city/country, and in-studio vs. virtual preference.
• Share the stitching rate card and fabric options, and answer standard questions on process, timelines and pricing.
• Follow up on open leads on a fixed schedule until they book or close; tag the reason when a lead is lost.
• Flag high-value and urgent leads (weddings, short deadlines, international clients) to Kailash Talreja the same day. 2. Appointment booking
• Book, confirm and reschedule in-studio consultations,
trials and fittings against Kailash Talreja's calendar.
• Book virtual appointments for out-of-town and international clients, including time-zone conversion and sending the video-call link.
• Send reminders 24 hours and 2 hours before each appointment; record no-shows and rebook them.
• Before virtual appointments, send clients the self-measurement guide and collect reference photos or measurements of a well-fitting garment.
• Plan trial and fitting dates backwards from each client's event date so wedding orders are never late. 3. Data entry in our lead and order management portal
• Own the full lead-to-order lifecycle in our in-house portal: create and update a record for every lead and client: contact details, source, enquiry, measurements, fabric chosen, style notes, order value and status.
• Log every interaction — calls, WhatsApp chats, appointments, payments — on the same day it happens.
• Keep lead and order stages current so anyone can see where each client stands at a glance.
• Maintain clean data: no duplicates, consistent naming, complete phone numbers with country codes.
• Prepare a weekly report: recent leads by source and ad platform, appointments booked, conversions, orders in progress and deliveries due. 4. Managing orders and shipments
• Convert the lead into an order in the portal once the advance is received; record garment specs, fabric, measurements, payment and promised delivery date.
• Track every order through cutting, trial, alterations and finishing,
and chase the workshop when a stage runs late.
• Raise payment requests for advances and balances, and reconcile payments received against each order (domestic and international).
• Pack and dispatch finished garments with the right courier, enter tracking numbers, and send tracking to the client.
• Handle international shipping paperwork and customs documents with the courier.
• Process online orders received through the website store.
• Confirm delivery with the client, collect feedback, request a Google review, and log any alteration requests. Good to have
• 1–3 years in operations, customer service, sales coordination or a front-desk role; fashion, retail or a service business preferred.
• Clear, polite communication in English and Hindi, spoken and written (including WhatsApp).
• Confident with Google Sheets/Excel and comfortable learning a CRM.
• Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Graduate in any discipline.
• Experience handling leads from Meta Ads, Google Ads or LinkedIn, and with WhatsApp Business or any CRM/order management system.
• Experience booking domestic and international courier shipments.
• Comfort coordinating with overseas clients across time zones.
• Interest in menswear, fabrics or tailoring. Who thrives here Someone who treats every client like a guest, never lets a follow-up slide, and is proud of a tidy record. You will work closely with a master craftsman and a small team, so reliability matters more than titles. Compensation and
how to apply
•
Salary:
[₹ 20,000] per month, based on experience.
• Apply: send your CV and a 3–4 line note on why this role suits you to WhatsApp +91-(phone hidden) with the subject "Operations Executive".
• Process: short phone call → in-person interview at the studio → a small practical task (enquiry reply + CRM entry).
