Company Description: Habibi’s Cafe & Bistro is a modern Middle Eastern café and bistro in Hiranandani Estate, Thane, known for bold flavours, thoughtfully crafted beverages, and warm, welcoming hospitality. The venue offers Middle Eastern cuisine and all-day dining, along with specialty coffee, craft matcha, and a curated selection of craft beers. Guests can visit throughout the day, from breakfast and coffee to lunch, evening brews, and dinner, making it a versatile space for different occasions. Role Description The Barista is a full-time, on-site role based at Habibi’s Cafe & Bistro in Mumbai. In this role, the Barista prepares and serves espresso-based drinks, specialty coffees, teas, and other beverages while following café recipes and presentation standards. Daily responsibilities include taking customer orders, operating brewing equipment, and maintaining a clean, organized work area and guest space. The Barista interacts with guests, explains menu items, manages transactions at the counter or POS system, and supports the team during busy service periods. The role also involves restocking supplies, monitoring product quality, and upholding health, safety, and hygiene guidelines.



Qualifications
• Barista skills with experience in espresso extraction, milk steaming, beverage preparation, and basic food preparation.
• Robust customer service and interpersonal skills to create a welcoming, friendly, and professional guest experience.
• Clear communication skills for taking orders accurately, explaining menu items, and coordinating with team members.
• Ability to work on-site in Thane on a full-time schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
• Previous café, restaurant, or hospitality experience is preferred; familiarity with Middle Eastern cuisine or speciality coffee is an advantage.
• Basic math and POS handling skills, reliability in cash handling, and attention to detail in service and hygiene.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and manage a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards. Preference: Immediate Joiners
