Role Description The Omni Sport Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for inspiring and supporting customers in discovering and enjoying sport. Day-to-day, the advisor welcomes and guides customers in-store, provides product information, helps them choose equipment suited to their level and goals, and ensures a positive, inclusive shopping experience. The role involves maintaining product displays, ensuring stock availability across sports categories, and supporting merchandising and in-store events that promote sport participation. The advisor uses digital tools to assist customers with product discovery, availability checks, and online orders, helping to create a seamless omni-channel experience.



The role also includes learning about Decathlon’s range of products, staying updated on sport trends, and collaborating with teammates to meet store performance and customer satisfaction objectives. Qualifications
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to actively listen, explain product features clearly, and build trust with a diverse range of customers.
• Genuine interest in sport and physical activity, with the ability to understand different sports needs and share practical tips and product recommendations.
• Basic sales and retail skills, including assisting with product selection, handling transactions, and contributing to store targets in a responsible way.
• Comfort with using digital tools and omni-channel platforms to support customers with product searches, inventory checks, and online ordering.
• Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced retail workplace in Gurugram, including weekends and peak hours, while collaborating effectively with teammates.
• Good organizational skills to manage stock, maintain clean and attractive product displays, and follow store processes and safety guidelines.
• Previous experience in retail, customer-facing roles, or sports coaching is an advantage but not mandatory; a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
• Basic educational qualifications and proficiency in English and local languages; additional language skills are a plus.
