Overview: Business Analyst (SAP Finance) - India - RemoteLocation: Fully Remote from IndiaWorking Hours: Must be able to provide significant overlap with Canadian business hours, with availability until at least 3:00 PM ESTContract: 6 months contractMUST have 8+ years as a Business Analyst with strong experience in SAP FinanceSeeking Immediate joiners OverviewOur consulting client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong SAP Finance functional expertise to support business and technology initiatives within a complex enterprise environment.The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of SAP Finance (FI) and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements, translate business needs into functional requirements, and support successful delivery.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role, as the Business Analyst will work with teams across both Canada and international locations.Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with business stakeholders to understand business needs, processes, and requirements.Leverage strong functional knowledge of SAP Finance to analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements.Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for technical teams.Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, SAP teams, and other technology teams.Support requirements analysis, solution design, testing, and implementation activities.Participate in workshops, working sessions,



and stakeholder meetings.Identify business process gaps and recommend appropriate solutions.Support the development and execution of test scenarios and user acceptance testing (UAT).Assist with issue identification, analysis, and resolution throughout the project lifecycle.Maintain explicit and accurate project and requirements documentation.Communicate project updates, requirements, risks, and dependencies effectively to stakeholders.Requirements: Required Qualifications8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise technology environments.Strong functional knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP Finance (FI).Strong understanding of finance-related business processes and how they are supported within SAP.Proven experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business requirements.Solid communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.Experience working in complex enterprise or consulting environments.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.SAP Finance KnowledgeCandidates should have strong functional knowledge of relevant SAP Finance processes, such as:General Ledger (GL)Accounts Payable (AP)Accounts Receivable (AR)Financial AccountingFinancial reportingIntegration between SAP Finance and other business functionsKey Skills & CompetenciesSAP Finance / SAP FIBusiness AnalysisRequirements Gathering & DocumentationFunctional AnalysisBusiness Process AnalysisStakeholder ManagementWorkshop FacilitationUAT & Testing SupportProblem SolvingStrong Written & Verbal CommunicationCross-functional CollaborationWorking HoursThis is a remote role; however, the successful candidate must be able to provide meaningful overlap with the client's Canadian working hours.Candidates must be available to work until at least 3:00 PM EST on a regular basis.
