We are digitizing and automating the complete vehicle resale journey — including customer acquisition, sales, vehicle procurement, inspection, pricing, inventory, transactions and analytics. We are now building our data and AI capabilities to make critical business decisions more data-driven, faster and more accurate.

About the Role
• We are looking for a Data Scientist with 3–5 years of experience to build Speedioo's Pricing & Intelligence Engine.
• Your primary responsibility will be to develop a data-driven pricing and valuation system that helps Speedioo
• determine the right buying price, selling price, expected margin and expected time-to-sell for every vehicle.
• You will work at the intersection of Data Science, Machine Learning, Product and Business.
• This is a hands-on role where you will own the complete journey: Business Problem → Data → Analysis → Model →

Key Responsibilities
Pricing & Valuation ● Develop ML models to predict used two-wheeler prices and valuations. ● Build models for recommended acquisition and selling prices. ● Predict expected resale value and gross margin. ● Develop expected days-to-sell / sales velocity models. ● Develop pricing ranges and confidence scores. ● Identify key factors influencing vehicle prices. ● Continuously improve models using actual purchase and sales outcomes. Data Science & Modelling ● Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns. ● Develop meaningful features from vehicle, transaction and market data. ● Build and evaluate regression and classification models. ● Experiment with different modelling techniques and algorithms. ● Perform model tuning, validation and error analysis. ● Identify data quality issues, outliers and anomalies. ● Measure model performance using both statistical and business metrics.



Data & Feature Engineering Work with vehicle, transaction and market data including make/model/variant, age, kilometres, location, condition, ownership/service history, inspection results, historical transaction prices, market prices, demand, inventory, seasonality and sales velocity. Create features and datasets that enable reliable and continuously improving predictions. Speedioo | Data Scientist – Pricing & AI Production & Model Deployment ● Convert analytical models into production-ready solutions. ● Work with engineering teams to integrate models into Speedioo's applications. ● Build model inference APIs and prediction pipelines. ● Maintain model versions and experiments. ● Monitor model performance and prediction accuracy. ● Identify model drift and performance degradation. ● Establish processes for model retraining as new data becomes available. AI / Deep Learning PyTorch | TensorFlow | Hugging Face | Computer Vision | LLMs / Generative AI Data & ML Engineering MLflow | Git | Docker | REST APIs | AWS Experience with Airflow, model monitoring, feature stores or similar tools is a plus.



What We Are Looking For ● 3–5 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, AI or a related field. ● Strong Python programming skills. ● Strong understanding of statistics and machine learning. ● Hands-on experience with regression, classification and tree-based models. ● Robust experience with XGBoost / LightGBM / Scikit-learn or equivalent. ● Strong SQL and data analysis skills. ● Strong understanding of feature engineering and model evaluation. ● Experience working with real-world, noisy and incomplete datasets. ● Experience taking models from experimentation to production. ● Ability to understand business problems and translate them into data science problems. ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ● Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to business and product stakeholders. ● Strong ownership and ability to work independently in a startup environment.
