Pune Work Mode: Subcon Shift: Rotational shift Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Genesys Telecom Engineer to join our team. As a Genesys Telecom Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Genesys CX telecommunications infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide support to end-users. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of Genesys telecom systems, excellent problem solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Design, configure, and implement Genesys CX telecommunications systems.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure the Genesys CX telecom infrastructure meets business needs.
• Monitor system performance and network traffic, identify potential issues, and implement proactive measures to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Genesys telecom systems, including voice quality, connectivity, and integration problems.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, resolve user-reported issues, and conduct training sessions to enhance their understanding of Genesys CX telecom systems.
• Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, safeguarding the integrity and confidentiality of communication data.




• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure telecom equipment, negotiate contracts, and ensure effective service delivery.
• Stay updated with Genesys CX product releases, patches, and firmware updates, evaluate their applicability, and plan and execute system upgrades accordingly.
• Document system configurations, network diagrams, troubleshooting procedures, and user guides to maintain an up-to-date knowledge base. Experience and Educational

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Proven experience with 7-10 years as an Genesys Telecom Engineer, working with Genesys PureConnect or Genesys CX
• Robust knowledge of telephony systems, including VoIP, SIP, H.323, ISDN, and digital/analog endpoints.
• Proficiency in call routing, voice mail, conferencing, and contact center solutions.
• Familiarity with Genesys CX (CCaaS and UCaaS).
• Experience with Genesys CX for administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of IP networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including LAN, WAN, VLAN, and routing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide user support.
• Relevant Genesys certifications are highly desirable.
