Role Description The ICP-MS Analyst role at METS Lab is a full-time, on-site position located in Manesar. The analyst will prepare and analyze a variety of samples (such as water, soil, food, and industrial materials) using ICP-MS instrumentation to determine trace elements and heavy metal content. Daily responsibilities include instrument setup, calibration, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure stable and accurate performance. The role involves following validated test methods, maintaining detailed records of analyses, reviewing data for accuracy, and preparing clear test reports in line with internal protocols and regulatory standards. The ICP-MS Analyst will collaborate with other laboratory team members, adhere to safety and quality guidelines, support method development or validation when required, and participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong ICP-MS operation skills, including sample preparation,



instrument calibration, method development, and data interpretation.
• Candidates should possess laboratory skills in analytical chemistry, including handling chemicals and standards, following SOPs, and maintaining lab safety and cleanliness.
• Candidates should possess quality and compliance skills, such as working under ISO/IEC or similar quality systems, documenting results accurately, and following regulatory and internal guidelines.
• Candidates should possess data handling and reporting skills, including use of laboratory software, basic statistical analysis, and preparation of clear, concise test reports.
• Candidates should possess collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to work in a multidisciplinary lab team, communicate findings, and coordinate with supervisors and clients.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related scientific field is preferred.
• Prior experience in trace element analysis or working with ICP-MS or similar analytical instruments will be considered an advantage.
