About the Role
We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic mathematics instructors to deliver live, personalized online classes to school-age students. We welcome applications from educators with strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to explain concepts in a simple, structured, and engaging manner. You will work directly with students, adapt lessons to their individual learning needs, monitor academic progress, and create an interactive learning experience. Responsibilities
• Conduct live 1:1 mathematics classes for students aged 5–16.
• Teach mathematical concepts according to the student's age, grade, and learning level.
• Explain topics, formulas, and problem-solving methods clearly and logically.
• Help students strengthen conceptual understanding, numerical skills, and analytical thinking.
• Adapt teaching methods to individual learning needs and academic progress.
• Conduct demo classes for prospective students when assigned.




• Maintain regular class schedules and ensure punctual attendance.
• Track student progress and provide relevant feedback.
• Use the 2ndRank Mentor Portal to manage classes, schedules, and assigned work.
• Communicate professionally with the internal team regarding student progress and class requirements. Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching or tutoring experience in the subject being applied for.
• Experience teaching children or school-age students is preferred.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain concepts in your own words.
• Excellent communication skills and good command of spoken English.
• Comfortable conducting live online 1:1 classes.
• Experience teaching US/international students or familiarity with international curricula is preferred.
• Must be available during the US shift (12:00 AM–6:30 AM IST).
• Able to commit up to 4 hours/day, 6 days a week, with one weekly off.
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable setup for online teaching.
• Passion for teaching and the ability to engage young learners. Compensation Monthly Earning Potential: ₹28,800–₹40,000 The earning potential is based on the expected teaching workload of approximately 4 sessions per day, 7 days per week, along with additional opportunities through demo classes and successful student conversions.



Your monthly earnings can vary depending on student availability, classes assigned, sessions conducted, and performance-based incentives.
• Regular Classes: ₹300/session for 55–60 minute regular sessions.
• Demo Classes: ₹150 per demo class for a 45–50 minute demo
• Demo Conversion Incentive: ₹200 additional incentive when a demo student converts into a full student.
• Student No-Show: ₹50 will be paid if a student does not attend the scheduled class, provided the instructor waits for at least 15 minutes. Selection Process Round 1 — Screening Initial screening to check experience, subject expertise, USA-shift availability, compensation expectations, and overall suitability. Round 2 — Founder's Interview The founder will assess the candidate's coding knowledge and their ability to understand and explain concepts in their own words. Round 3 — Demo Class The selected candidate will conduct a live demo class with a student. Immediate Hiring: Candidates who successfully perform in the demo and are liked by the student may be hired immediately. What You’ll Get
